What’s New in FTI FormingSuite 2022.0
– Configure die material settings for a specific geographical region using the Die Material Database.
– View cost per kg information for specific die builds directly in the Regional Die Estimation Settings dialog.
– Export an ARC file with stress-tensor data for LS-Dyna.
– Generate a new and compact HTML report.
– Choose from 8 new part materials for steel using the Material Library.
– Identify unfolded flange trim lines on bridge areas during the double attach process.
– Identify interference of unfolded trim lines on the bridge.
3D Addendum
– Regenerate the Die Radius Tangent Curve after changes are made to the Part Extension Curve.
– Delete part features after they have been defined.
Incremental Setup
– Configure new enhanced mass scaling in Dytran solver settings.
– New Initial Blank Mesh Refinement settings.
Line Die Plan
– Select steel and cast iron materials in Die Build irrespective of build type.
– View die build material rates beside die materials when configuring Die Build.
– Disable regeneration of Editable Blanking Table after changes are made in Blanking Settings.
– Disable regeneration of Die Lineup after changes are made in Process Settings or in the Press Coordinate System.
– Utilize a new and improved algorithm for loose blank and loose scraps in Editable Blanking.
– Utilize a new and improved trim line generation from 3D Addendum cases including one boundary trim line generation and editing of outer trim line anywhere.
Progressive Die Process
– Select steel and cast iron materials in Die Build irrespective of build type.
– View die build material rates beside die materials when configuring Die Build.
– Disable regeneration of 2D and 3D processes after changes are made in Process Settings.
– Disable regeneration of 3D process after changes are made in the 2D process.
– Identify loose parts in the process with a new enhanced process validation function.
