SIMPACK is a program for analyzing the dynamics of bodies and multibody elements (MBS).
SIMPACK consists of a wide range of products for various aspects of modeling mechanical and mechatronic systems.SIMPACK Kinematics & Dynamics – the core of the system, which includes pre- and postprocessor, and (most importantly) a set of own solvers.
All other modules and interfaces are 100% compatible with each other and integrated into the base module. The basic idea of ââthe package is to create a CAD-model of a mechanical or mechatronic system with the subsequent “calculation” of its kinematic and dynamic characteristics. At the same time, there are rich possibilities for visualization of initial data and results, as well as for the use of external (ext.ch. self-written) extension modules and solvers.
SIMPACK is a general purpose Multi-Body Simulation (MBS) software is used for the dynamic analysis of any mechanical or mechatronic system. It enables engineers to generate and solve virtual 3D models in order to predict and visualize motion, coupling forces and stresses.
