The Age of Decadence is a step-by-step, single-player 3D role-playing game, with a bit of magic, post-apocalyptic fantasy world, inspired by the fall of the Roman Empire. The game features a detailed system of skills and characteristics, non-linear gameplay, many ways to complete quests, as well as extensive dialogues.Features:
– 7 different styles of the game : from a knight loyal to the Noble Houses to a scam reaping greed and gullibility.
23 skills, from possession of a dagger and critical strikes, to the art of persuasion, the making of things and the possession of ancient knowledge.
A combat system based on action points. It includes not only a wide range of standard attacks, but also special ones, for example “Whirlwind” and “Piercing”, as well as aiming – on different parts of the body.
– 8 types of weapons : daggers, swords, axes, hammers, spears, bows, crossbows, throwing weapons. Each with its own distinctive features.
Non-combat options for solving quests and a well-developed path of diplomacy (“The best weapon against the enemy is another enemy”).
More than 100 quests, taking place in 22 locations: cities, fortifications, archaeological excavations, sealed Power Places, underground complexes and temples.
Each situation has several methods of solution, depending on your skills, reputation and connections. Each decision will lead to the corresponding consequences for someone or something.
Branched dialogues, written with emphasis on the role component. You can use a large number of skills in dialogs, and also take actions such as theft or hidden attacks. Beat your character as you want.
An interesting world with a rich history and an unclear future that can end in 7 different endings depending on your decisions.
A detailed system of crafting and alchemy: melt objects and create new ones, balance your sword, experiment with Greek fire, poisons, black powder, melt the locks with acid.
Hundreds of items, from weapons and armor to scrolls, tools, bottles and pre-war relics.
