Plexim Plecs Standalone v3.7.5 (x86)
RELEASE INFO:
Plexim Plecs Standalone v3.7.5 (x86) | 82 MB
PLECS® Standalone is an autonomous software package for time-domain simulation of power electronic systems. If you want to be independent from other simulation platforms, PLECS Standalone gives you the all-in-one solution for modeling complex electrical circuits and sophisticated controls in a single environment.
Thanks to its optimized engine, PLECS Standalone runs much faster than the PLECS Blockset. With the comprehensive block library, PLECS Standalone offers a cost-effective yet powerful solution for dynamic system simulation in general.
Dedicated solversDedicated Solvers
PLECS Standalone comes with its own engine for solving circuit equations. The user can choose between variable-step and fixed-step solvers. Variable time-step solvers are generally preferred for accurate and efficient simulations, because they adopt the step size during the simulation depending on model dynamics. PLECS Standalone provides optimized implicit and explicit variable-step solvers for stiff and non-stiff systems.Sampled Data Systems
The simulation engine allows the user to model sampled data systems, i.e. discrete systems that change only at distinct times. Users can model systems that are sampled periodically or at variable intervals, systems containing blocks with different sample rates, and systems that mix continuous and discrete blocks.Interoperability
Simulation models can be exchanged with users of PLECS Blockset via import and export functions. All library components and modeling tools offered in PLECS Standalone are also available in PLECS Blockset. When importing a model created with the PLECS Blockset, the Simulink part is ignored.Whats New :
v3.7
Thermal Modeling
Semiconductor losses can now be described using functional expressions in addition to lookup tables. It is also possible to define custom parameters (such as gate resistance) and describe their influence on the device losses.
Enhanced Scope
The Scope has been enhanced with a new "stripchart" scrolling mode and a dynamic y-axis auto-scaling method that is based on the currently visible signal values.
Processor-in-the-Loop (PIL)
The Processor-in-the-Loop framework has been extended to support Microchip dsPIC33F, STM 32F4 and TI 2837x dual-core Delfino MCUs.
Physical Connections between Circuit Blocks
In the PLECS Blockset it is now possible to create physical (electrical, magnetic, thermal or mechanical) connections between multiple Circuit blocks in a Simulink model.
