* System Requirements:
NI VeriStand supports the following operating systems:

– Windows 10 64-bit version (1909/8.1 Update 1*)
– Windows Server 2019
– Windows Server 2016
* NI software installs VC2015 Runtime and .NET 4.6.2
– Memory: 4 GB of RAM
– CPU: Pentium 4 G1 equivalent (Intel i5 equivalent or higher recommended)

Real-Time Targets:
– PXI controller/desktop PC-At least 256 MB of RAM1 2
– CompactRIO/Single-Board RIO-At least 128 MB of RAM1

NI VeriStand has the following requirements:
– (Required) NI-DAQmx software 20.7
– (Required) NI-VISA software 20.0
– (Required) NI-SLSC 20.0.1
– (Recommended) NI-RIO 20.5 used by NI FPGA targets
– (Recommended) NI-XNET 20.7 used by NI-XNET vehicle bus interface cards

1174315 Reflective Memory causes latency spikes on Linux RT
Depending on the PCL rate and number of channels, using the VeriStand Reflective Memory solution can cause latency spikes in the PCL on Linux RT. This can lead to HP counts and missed data transfers.
1203847 Simple deployed VeriStand SDF results in one core reporting 100% CPU
Even simple VeriStand system definition files will result in one core having its CPU rail to 100%. However, this is a normal priority thread that will not lead to deadlock or interrupt network communication.

VeriStand provides integrated support for a range of NI-XNET devices, NI-DAQ devices, and NI FPGA targets.
