Reason for this release
This is an update to the 7.7.2 release (May 2009). The main purpose of the 7.8 release is to apply a few minor bug fixes and enhancements.
9213 When the “Enable saving of password” option is enabled in the Microsoft ADO connection editor, the Password (If need) saved as plain text in the connection string. GBIS will issue a warning if this is the case and will provide the option of removing the password from the connection string.
9214 The Marx security key check relating to the expiry of annual maintenance has been changed. GBIS will still run after the ALF expiry date has been reached, provided that version locking constraints are satisfied. Contact a Micromine representative for more details in this regard.
9215 GBIS now provides support for long column names in MICROMINE data
9312 An import file spec could not be run individually if the default input file did not exist.
