You have to uninstall old versions completely and delete especially the following two folders!
/Users/YourUsername/Library/Preferences/Ableton
/Users/YourUsername/Library/Application Support/Ableton
Then restart and try again
It has to work, obviously the error lies with you, maybe the generated license is not in order, don’t forget that you have to generate it in Windows!
