SOLIDWORKS SWOOD is a set of professional solutions for the furniture industry, to improve the process of designing and manufacturing furniture. SWOOD has two modules:

SOLIDWORKS SWOOD Design
SWOOD Design is an addition to the SOLIDWORKS software. It improves the process of designing furniture in a 3D environment, thanks to the use of special functions that extend the standard capabilities of SOLIDWORKS.

The sets of predefined elements are configured with the expectation to improve the automation and repeatability of activities associated with the design. Designing furniture in SolidWorks SWOOD Design boils down to creating or selecting a finished enclosure, and then equipping it with furniture fittings, shelves, partitions and other elements that preserve the parameters and relationship with the modifications and rearrangement of the model. Eccentric connections, pins? Or lamella inserts can also be used with the Drag & Drop function, generating links between them and mounting holes.

SOLIDWORKS SWOOD CAM
The SolidWorks SWOOD CAM software helps in the transition from the design phase to the direct production. Due to the possibility of using the full scope of available technologies, the user is able to correctly program the CNC woodworking machine. The end result of SolidWorks SWOOD CAM is the generated NC program and documentation about the production.
Thanks to SolidWorks SWOOD CAM, you can quickly identify your own cutting tools, add them to the library and use them in subsequent technological processes. Thus, the created database of predefined tools, further enriched in the tree processing strategy, makes it possible to use the finished technology “Drag & Drop” together with the tree processing library.
